Old Catalog Photo Scan!...1949 Hutzlers Fall Housewares Catalog

                                 

Hello!...

This week I decided to scan an old and famous Baltimore department store catalog…It’s the 1949 edition of the Hutzlers Fall Housewares Catalog…

Hutzlers, founded in 1858 by Moses Hutzler, was really the first Baltimore department store…It started as a dry goods store and was later expanded by Mr. Hutzler’s 3 sons into “Hutzler Brothers” department store.

It was, until it’s closing, the premiere Baltimore department store…Baltimore’s high end department store…They were famous for their elaborate Christmas window display every Xmas amongst other things.
